A single dose can be used for any person who wants to undergo the oral, upper respiratory, dental or esophageal procedures. The drug is normally given for someone who is penicillin allergic. The Clindamycin is normally given intravenously for the patients who are not able to take the Clindamycin orally. In case someone was already taking the Clindamycin for any other infection, then he has to be given any other antibiotics in this case.
